What a sweet baby. Congratulations Katherine. Where are you located? I looked up First Class Action and hypo mated her with our stallion Top Account, and wow, there was some interesting duplications in that mating. Take a look at it and see what you think when you have time. We are located at George. Good luck with your newest addition.

Saddly First Class Action is no longer with us. But she left behind a beautiful Filly. First Class Action will be greatly missed. RIP May 9, 2006

I am so sorry to hear that. We lost Silequa last year 36 hours after she foaled a Basket Weave colt. Went through 3 mares before we got a Qtr horse mare to take him at 3 weeks. He is now an outstanding yearling. Thank God for his little Poco Bueno bred mama. She did well by him. Hope you can find a nurse mare asap. Use domperidone to help get her into milk if it has been a day or two since she has been nursed. Please let me know how it turns out. Pam was gracious enough to let me use one of her mares last year but it didn't work out with that one. Been there, done that, and it isn't fun. Kathie King

what a beautiful filly Katherine. Good luck with your little girl. I raised an orphan last year lot of work but worth it. She is bigger than some of my babies that were dam raised so your baby should do fine. Pam in Norco

Here are a couple pictures that were taken last Friday at the noon feeding time. Lil Charlie with her foster mom's Siberia and me with the bottle. Lil Charlie has been spending her days out with her foster mom and Maya & her colt Midway and with Inara the yearling Fjord. Inara just loves the babies, she is always laying next to Midway asleep and today I found her cleaning Lil Charlie. Lil Charlie has been learning to be a horse from the others and has been drink water and eating grain and grass. She still has to be bottle fed. She always greets me with a nicker at the door or gate at feeding time. She knows when it's her feeding time and if I am just a couple minutes late she lets me know.

Update: Little Charlie is doing great, she is now up to 5 bottles a day. She is spending time with her foster mom Siberia out in the pasture with the other horses. She is eating grass, hay, and grain. She is growing like a little weed. Here is a picture taken a few days ago.

Where are you located? I have a mare that just lost her foal last night. She may take yours. She's a really sweet Q.H.

Thank you for the offer, sorry to hear of your loss. Little Charlie has a foster mom, a 22 year old mare who doesn't have any milk but loves Little Charlie as if she were her own. She has been on the bottle for 6 weeks now and I don't think we could get her to nurse. I don't think she will ever want to give up the bottles, but she will have to. Little Charlie is doing great growing big and just as strong as the two colts.
If I hear of anyone else that needs a nurse mare I let you know.
Thank you again, Katherine
